Miss Grand International 2018 has officially begun with the delegates arriving in Myanmar from their respective countries. Eighty gorgeous ladies are participating in the 6th edition of the coveted international pageant. The reigning Miss Grand International is Maria Jose Lora from Peru who will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.

The organization is all set to organize its first preliminary competition, National Costume Competition where the ladies will parade in their costumes representing their respective country’s culture and heritage. The candidate who wins the competition receives a trophy from the organization and a cash prize of US $ 2,000 during the final night. Here are the details of MGI 2018 National Costume Competition -

The organization took to their social media to reveal the information in a post, “Experience and be amazed by distinctiveness and diversity of cultures and heritage brought to you by all of our contestants towards their spectacular national costumes.”

Last year, the competition was held on 12th October 2017 at the Sun Spa Resort and recognition was given to the best attire during the finale night where Miss Grand Indonesia 2017 Dea Goesti Rizkita was awarded the Best National Costume award.

The finale of Miss Grand International 2018 will be held on 25th October 2018 at The ONE Entertainment Park, in the city of Rangoon, Myanmar.
