The organization of Miss Grand International held a press conference for Miss Grand International 2020 at the sixth floor Show DC Hall, Bangkok hosted by Miss Grand Thailand 2017 Premika Pamela introduced the details of the beauty pageant which is scheduled to take place on 27th March 2021 in Thailand.
Premika shared that all the delegates will arrive in Thailand on 28th February 2021 and finale will take place at Show DC Hall, Bangkok on 27th March 2021. The president of Miss Grand International Nawat Itsaragrisil was invited on-stage to share further details of the beauty competition and he shared, that the current times is quite difficult for doing or hosting anything around the world and the beauty pageant industry must be very careful. He also shared that the entire team is thankful to the government of Thailand for allowing them to host a pageant with keeping all the safety precautions in mind. Nawat sounded proud while sharing that Miss Grand International is the first international beauty competition that is being hosted for the year 2020.
The president of Miss Grand International shared that the competition has had approximately 80-90 countries taking part at the competition but this year it will around 70-80 countries because some of the countries have imposed a complete lockdown and closed the airports. He mentioned that the team will make sure that the delegates are safe and treated well while being in Thailand. Premika appreciated Nawat for making the pageant happen and took pride in hosting the press-conference.
The former queen shared the details by mentioning that the girls arriving on 28th February 2021 will be quarantining for 14 days as per the standard government rules. In the meantime, as they quarantine, live streaming would take place along with competing in various competitions like preliminaries including the national costume that will take place in the same Show DC Hall, Bangkok. Miss Grand Thailand and Miss Grand International organization sign a contract with Show DC Hall, Bangkok for three years during the press conference.
During the press-conference the winner of Miss Grand Thailand 2020 Chantarapadit Namfon, along with her court including first runner-up Miss Grand Pathumthani 2020 Indy Johnson, second runner-up Miss Grand Nakhon Si Thammarat 2020 Patcha Patchaploy, third runner-up Miss Grand Chiang Rai 2020 Juthamas Mekseree, and fourth runner-up Miss Grand Mukdahan 2020 Nutnicha Srithongsuk paraded the stage and added to the much excitement to the press conference of the beauty competition.
Chantarapadit assured that the organization is taking all the precautions necessary to make the pageant happen in a successful manner and she can not wait to meet the delegates from all over the world. The press conference ended with the showcase of the national costume of Miss Grand Thailand 2020 Chantarapadit Namfon that she donned during Miss Grand Thailand 2020 competition.
