The 8th edition of Miss Grand International will be held today i.e., 27th March 2021 in Thailand where stunning beauties from all over the globe will compete for the international crown. The beauty competition will be held keeping all the covid-19 safety norms in mind and the beauty queens have already completed their 14-days quarantine period. Miss Grand International 2019 Valentina Figuera will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.
The divas have been performing exceptionally well at the competition showcasing their best self-on-stage and giving each other a tough competition along with enjoying and experiencing the best time of their lives. Recently, the preliminary competition of Miss Grand International 2020 was held on 25th March 2021 at the Show DC Hall, Bangkok, Thailand where the gorgeous divas paraded the stage in their stellar looking evening gowns and later in swimsuits. At the end of the finale, a few of the special awards were announced by the press of the organization to the divas. Let’s look at these special awards:
Miss Grand Cambodia 2020 Chily Tevy was awarded Grand Pageant’s Choice Award. She is the first delegate who has entered the Top 20 finalists for the international crown after she was voted, ‘Country Choice of the Year’ by the public.
Miss Grand Scotland 2020 Helen Maher was awarded Miss Grand Spirit Award for her excellent performance even after being not well. She has emerged as an example of strength and female empowerment showing that there are no limitations towards the goals when you’re determined to achieve it. She suffers from a degenerative disease that makes it difficult for him to perform daily activities. However, she has put all her effort into all the activities of the contest.
The divas are now preparing themselves to grace the stage of Miss Grand International 2020 which will be held in a few hours and make their respective countries proud by performing their best. The divas have mentioned that even in such tough times, the organization has managed to make the beauty pageant a memorable one for each one of them and they all are very grateful to be here and meet each other and develop a friendship.
