The 8th edition of Miss Grand International, i.e. Miss Grand International 2020, is all set to be held on 27th March 2021 in Bangkok, Thailand where stunning beauties from all over the globe will compete for the international crown. Miss Grand International 2019 Valentina Figuera will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.
While this year’s batch boasts of stunning and talented beauties, there are a few ladies who have stood out amongst the rest and show immense capability to be the winner of the 2020 edition. In a series of features, we’d love to introduce to you our Top 15 favourite contestants for the crown.
Samantha Mae Bernardo, after three years of waiting, is representing Philippines at Miss Grand International 2020. Samantha was Binibining Pilipinas 2nd runner-up twice (in 2018 and 2019) and everyone in her country wanted to see her represent Philippines at an international platform. If Samantha wins the crown this year, Philippines will pioneer its win at Miss Grand International.
Samantha hails from Puerto Princesa and is currently a resident of Manila. The stunning beauty has graduated from the Palawan State University and obtained a degree in International Hospitality and Management. Formerly, she has worked as a Hotelier and also as a Makeup and Personality Development Instructor.
Samantha has been a competitive Rhythmic Gymnast for about 9 years now and is also the former President of Singing Palawan Dance troupe that showcases Philippine Tradition through Folk dances in the country and abroad. It sure shows that Samantha is an ardent lover and supporter of arts.
The gleaming diva is also an entrepreneur at Frontrow International which is a leading business company in the Philippines. Apart from her professional work, Samantha is also involved in philanthropy as she is an active volunteer at Philippine Movement Against Malaria organisation through which she tries to create awareness regarding the viral disease and its prevention in the Filipino community. In her free time, Samantha likes to play sports, dance and meditate.
At Miss Grand International 2020, Samantha has come prepared as she has already made her place amongst the front runners for the crown. From her airport arrival looks to performing confidently at the activities and events that are being held after a successful quarantine, Samantha is sure stealing everyone’s hearts away.
