The Miss Grand International organization hosted the Preliminary Competition for the 9th edition of the pageant on 2nd December 2021 at the Show DC Hall in Bangkok, Thailand where the delegates from across the globe will give a last performance before the grand finale to be held on 4th December 2021.
The divas strutted in gorgeous evening gowns dazzling like queens and were marked by the jury on the basis of their catwalks, confidence and elegance. While all the delegates graced the ramp with their stunning performance, some stood out as strong contenders for the title. So, without any further ado, here are our favourites from the Evening Gown Preliminary Competition of Miss Grand International 2021 –
Lorena Gonçalves Rodrigues Miss Grand Brazil 2021
Shimmering in a gorgeous red gown by the amazing He´lcio Couture, Lorena dazzled like a queen on the ramp. Elegant and graceful, this diva definitely made our hearts skip a beat. The gorgeous gown fell beautifully on her body with glitters and feathers embracing her walk.
Adriana Moya Alvarado Miss Grand Costa Rica 2021
Another beautiful creation by He´lcio Junior, Adriana donned a vibrant gown inspired by the hummingbird that flies light and carefree for more than 3,000 kilometers to reach its destination. The diva was confident, radiating and owned the stage with her fierce looks.
Vivianie Diaz Arroyo Miss Grand Puerto Rico 2021
Dazzling the stage with a warm smile, Vivianie shimmered in a Luis Lopez golden gown with mirror work. A spirited elegance overflowed and manifested in Viv’s beauty and graceful walk. She was confident, stunning and powerful on the ramp.
Andrea Victoria Aguilera Miss Grand Ecuador 2021
Andrea wore a gorgeous deep neck- high slit silver gown created by Carlos Mera looking spectacular and walking with utmost confidence and grace. Leaving soul, heart and life in each presentation, Ecuador is definitely emerging strong at the competition this year.
Mariana Jaramillo Miss Grand Colombia 2021
One of the strongest and best performances of the night was definitely of Colombia’s Mariana Jaramillo. A perfect combination of grace and strength displayed on the stage in a gorgeous golden shimmering gown. The diva definitely owned the platform and left us all in aw.
Samantha Alexandra Panlilio Miss Grand Philippines 2021
Starring in Layag Balangay by Rian Fernandez, Samantha starred in jewels accompanied by a statement sheer cape. A hand embroidered sheer Rian Fernandez cape gown is inspired with the seafaring vessel of the Philippines being the first wooden watercraft excavated in Southeast Asia. The bodice is fully bejeweled with Caribbean Blue opal rhinestones, glass beads, oversized Austrian swarovski crystals. This piece is a perfect way to reawaken Filipino pride in a forgotten heritage of the ancient Filipino ingenuity.
Manika Sheokand Miss Grand India 2021
Passion, power and grandness is what India’s Manika displayed on the stage. Looking like a goddess in the stunning creation by Bhawna Rao. The crimson red gown was inspired from the beauty and aroma of Rosariums. The gown was elegant and sexy just like a beautiful bloomed Rose. The gown, crimson red in color, with body hugging silhouette and a soft train, a beautiful jewel neckline and red fringes at the shoulder added glamour to the dress and make it look sensual and strong.
Vanessa Carolina Coello Coraspe Miss Grand Venezuela 2021
Wearing Nidal Nouaihed, the beautiful Miss Grand Venezuela dazzled in the preliminary round. A column suit with an asyrene cut, in lemon yellow, in mesh embroidery is the basis of this suit. Embroidery in the manner of goldsmithing highlights the bustier to highlight shoulders and neck, made of matching crystals.
Sophie Louise Rogan Miss Grand Indonesia 2021
Bringing her own vision to life in a Wikiwu and Nancy Wu creation, Sophia donned the Gaia gown. “The Gaia gown means a lot to me. Gaia is the soul of the earth. She represents an all-loving, nurturing, and intelligent force. I hope that this dress can act as a reminder to us all that our mother, GAIA, is something we all share in common. We must treasure her as she has treasured us with her most scenic paradises, nourishing foods, and strong materials,” she shared.
Nguyen Thúc Thuy Tiên Miss Grand Vietnam 2021
Vietnam’s red diamond gown was definitely a show stopper at the grand night. Looking like a strong woman, Nguyen donned a bold red NTK Nguyen Minh Tuan gown. The statement neckline and the beautifully slits of the gown was carried with confidence and elegance by the diva. She looked no less of a gorgeous queen on the ramp.
