The Miss Grand Malaysia organization will soon host the virtual finale night for Miss Grand Malaysia 2021 on 1st August 2021, due to the on-going restriction movement order as announced by the Malaysian Government. The organization started with its pre-pageant activities on 12th July and has held the pre-elimination round as well as the head-to-head challenge through the public voting.
The organization has now recently announced the Top 5 finalists vying for the national title selected from the four groups as well as the Miss Popular Vote. The alumni score consist of 11 alumni queens of Miss Grand Malaysia, Miss Intercontinental Malaysia & Miss Global Malaysia, whose judging were based on the Head to Head Challenge along with the overall impression throughout the finalist journey in the pageant, leading to these results.
So, without any further ado, here are the Top 5 finalists of Miss Grand Malaysia 2021 –
Anya Kimberly from Sabah
Kelly Cahill from Sarawak
Lishalliny Kanaran from Selangor
Malveen Kaur from Johor
Poorani Rajoo from Kuala Lumpur
These five finalists will now be facing a Top 5 Virtual Interview and another round of public voting, basis of which the winner for this year’s edition will be elected. The organization believes that this is the best way to hold the selection process for the election of the new queen, taking consideration of the situation in the country.
Miss Grand Malaysia 2021 will succeed Miss Grand Malaysia 2020 Jasebel Robert for the title. Jasebel recently represented the country at Miss Grand International 2020 where she won the Miss Popular Vote and got a direct entry into Top 10.
