Due to the restriction orders in the country with the ongoing covid-19, the selection for Miss Grand Malaysia 2021 was held virtually throughout the month of July in 3 stages of elimination. At the end of the competition, Lishalliny Kanaran was selected as the new Miss Grand Malaysia 2021. Lisha completed all the stages as a top performer.

Hailing from Selangor, Malaysia, Lisha is 24 years of age and stands 175 cm tall. She is a student of Architecture who emerged as a winner at the national competition as she competed with absolute hardwork and determination.

Lishalliny Kanaran is a no stranger to the pageant world as this was her third attempt at Miss Grand Malaysia. They say third time is a charm and that definitely worked for the stunning beauty queen. Through her title, Lisha wishes to advocate for period poverty and children’s education.

The organization announced that Lisha scored a final score 80.2% in the final. Along with her, Malveen Kaur scored 72.2% while Poorani Rajoo scored 71.8% and Anya Kimberly scored 68.3% along with Kelly Cahill who scored 68.0%.

The organization will also host a crowning ceremony for the winner when restriction orders are relaxed in the country. Lisha succeeds Miss Grand Malaysia 2020 Jasebel Robert who represented Malaysia at Miss Grand International 2020 and with her stellar performance, placed in the Top 10 through Popular Vote.
