The 8th edition of the Miss Grand International i.e., Miss Grand International 2020 was scheduled to be held in the month of October 2020 in the city of Caracas, Venezuela. The delegates from all over the world will compete for the title. At the end of the event, Miss Grand International in 2019 Valentina Figuera from Venezuela, will crown her successor. But due to the pandemic the Miss Grand International Organization has decided to postpone the pageant to early 2021. There hasn’t been any official announcement regarding the pageant’s postponing to 2021 so the confirmation is still awaiting.
Priscila Moreno Valverde who was crowned Miss Morelos 2017 is one of the delegates who has been finalized for the Miss Grand Mexico 2020 title. She seems like a potential delegate to represent Mexico at Miss Grand International 2020 stage.
Originally from Acapulco, Guerrero, Priscila is 21-years-old and stands 182 cm tall. She is passionate about beauty pageants and feels very confident and empowered while she is on-stage. She is a communication student who aspires to be a television host and a super model in future.
Priscila has a beautiful face as well as body and the pageant fanatics believes that if Miss Grand Mexico 2020 would be keen to break the stereotypes of the pageantry and who else than Priscila Valverde to do that. At a very young age, she went to live with her parents out of state, however, she pointed out, she never forgets her roots in the Costa Chica region. She tries to embrace it whenever she can and Miss Grand Mexico 2020 provides her the platform to do so.
The diva who represented her province at Miss Mexico 2018 is considered as one of the strongest candidates as she is experienced and has a very good and positive competitive spirit to win. She is determined to win the title and represent her country at international pageants and fir that she has been working hard every day. The beautiful diva who has always tried to uplift the women around her is an advocate of self-love and believes that without loving one-self, no one can fall in love with anything in the world. She strongly believes that if you want something, you must work hard for that and since she was not placed at her previous pageants, she is determined to win this one.
Priscila also mentioned that she is very grateful for all the opportunities that has come along her way as it has helped her to be more confident, strong, and focused towards her goal. She also stated that she has learnt a lot from her previous participation at beauty pageants and she will be using the quarantine time working on finessing her skills and abilities to impress everyone at the finale event.
She has worked with her various designers and brands in Mexico which has let her gain experience as well as knowledge about beauty pageants that will be an added advantage for her during the competition. The people she has worked with has mentioned that she is extremely hard working, quick to learn, and very indulged in her work. She loved to be on-stage and on-camera as she feels confident and empowered.
The diva is working out every day to maintain herself healthy and fit for the competition. She is positive and very enthusiast to be a part of stage that will help her to showcase and talk about the things she believes in. If she wins Miss Grand Mexico 2020 and later Miss Grand International 2020, she would become the first brunette woman to win the pageant.
