At the conclusion of the finale of Miss Grand South Africa 2018 held on 4th August 2018 in Pretoria, Misha Christie emerged as the winner and was crowned Miss Grand South Africa 2018. She will now represent South Africa in the 6th edition of Miss Grand International beauty pageant to be held in Myanmar on 25th October 2018.
Misha, who is a graduate in business management, also won most of the special awards announced during the finale - Public Choice, Best Bikini Body, Best Swimsuit, Best National Costume, Best Evening Gown, Miss Photogenic, and Miss Debutante.

Third runner-up - Nedien Andrews
Fourth runner-up - Rhulani Mathevula

Last year, South Africa was represented by Yajna Debideen in Miss Grand International 2017, though she remained unplaced at the finale. Even in 2015 and 2016, Magdalena Pieterse Miss Grand International 2015 (who is now the national director of Miss Grand South Africa) and Caitlin Harty, Miss Grand South Africa 2016 could not secure a place in the Top 20 finalists of Miss Grand International 2015 and 2016 respectively.
It would be interesting to see if Misha, with her naturally attractive looks, perfect modelesque figure, gorgeous personality and presentation, will be able to make a stronger impression at Miss Grand International 2018.
