It’s that time of the year when all the countries gear up to host their regional and national pageants in order to crown the representatives of the international pageants. One of the early starters is Thailand that held the official Press Conference of Miss Grand Thailand 2018 today, where the contest officially began to search for the most deserving beauty of the country to represent Thailand in Miss Grand International 2018 which is scheduled to take place later in October this year.
The beauties who were in attendance at this press conference were reigning Miss Grand International Maria Jose Lora along with Miss Grand Thailand 2017 Pamela Pasinetti. Founder and National Director of MGI, Nawat Itsaragrisil, also attended the event. Miss Grand International is an annual minor international female beauty contest with the aim to ‘Stop the War and Violence’.
A total of 77 provinces will take part in Miss Grand Thailand 2018 and the first finalist is expected to be crowned on 20th January 2018 who will represent Phetchabun province. All the preliminary activities of Miss Grand Thailand 2018 are going to take place in Phuket with the coronation night all set to hold in BITEC Bangna, Bangkok.

The winner of Miss Grand Thailand 2017 will earn the envious chance of representing Thailand at the grand slam pageant, Miss Grand International 2018. Every year, the pageant follows a theme based concept. It would be interesting to see what new this year’s competition has in store for all of us.
