There was no national pageant held this year due to the spread of corona virus, thus the Miss Grand Thailand organization appointed a candidate to uphold the responsibility of carrying the national flag forward. Indy Johnson of Bangkok, who was the first runner up at Miss Grand Thailand 2020, was given the opportunity to represent her country at the international stage.
The 23-year-old is a professional model with a prominent career in Thailand, having worked with some of the finest designers and brands in the country. Indy graduated from Bangkok University, one of the largest and oldest private, not-for-profit universities in the country. The Thai-American model stands 175 cm tall and boasts of piercing black eyes. She loves to use her free time to take pictures and create content. A true creative at heart, she also loves to have fun doing do-it-yourself (DIY) activities.
“I am ambitious person. I always planned and set goals for myself, because I’m not alone but I have my family in my back. That why I’m always looking for an opportunity to do better and achieve my goal. I’m working at dealing with change. I can do everything for myself and by myself because I know how to be myself in a good version and situation,” the diva explained her ambitions with her family in centre of her heart, in the introduction for Miss Grand International 2021.
“I have only ambition and i will do that. I want to protect and feed my family, So i always try to push myself as far as possible,” she further added.
Indy loves to play basketball and is outgoing as a person. She likes to explore different cultures by meeting different people and getting to know about their values and traditions. The diva is also no stranger to the world of pageantry, earlier she competed in the second season of The Face Thailand where she gave a splendid performance but fell short of making it to the final fifteen contestants.
Miss Grand International 2021 is set to be held in Indy’s country, will she win the crown and keep it from going from her homeland?
