Miss Grand Venezuela organization, through their official social media, announced Luiseth Materán as the new Miss Grand Venezuela 2022. She replaces Sabrina Deraneck for the crown and will represent Venezuela at Mis Grand International 2022.

Luiseth is a Venezuelan actress, journalist, TV host, model and beauty queen. She was born in Los Teques, Miranda. Luiseth is 26 years of age and stands 178 cm tall. The stunning beauty obtained a bachelor's degree with honors in Social Comunications specializated in Publicity and Audiovisual Arts given by Andrés Bello Catholic University in Caracas.

Not new to the pageant world, Luiseth began her pageantry career in state pageants. In 2015, she won Miss Globe Venezuela 2015 and was supposed to represent Venezuela at Miss Globe 2015. Unfortunately, at that time there were terrorist attacks in Istanbul and she was not given the opportunity to travel to that country.

Luiseth then competed at Miss Venezuela 2020 where she represented Miranda and placed as the Top 5 finalist. In 2021, on 28th October, Luiseth was officially crowned as Miss Venezuela Universe 2021 during the Miss Venezuela 2021 finale. Materán represented Venezuela at the Miss Universe 2021 pageant in Eilat, Israel, and finished in the Top 16.

Luiseth is now preparing for her international stint at Miss Grand International 2022. With her international experience, her stunning beauty and her charming personality, Luiseth will surely be a strong contender for the crown.
