The finale of Miss Idaho USA 2022 was held on 12th September 2021 where twenty candidates competed for the state crown and Jordana Dahmen was crowned the new queen at the end of the event finale. Jordana succeeds and was crowned by Miss Idaho USA 2021 Katarina Schweitzer.
From Boise, Idaho, Jordana attended Washington State University in Pullman, Washington, USA where she earned her bachelor’s degree in biology. With an exemplary record in curriculars, she worked for Pullman Regional Hospital as a surgical service scheduling coordinator till 2019. From then till 2021, she worked for St. Luke’s Health System as a research regulatory coordinator.
Not new to the pageantry, she was Miss Whitman County 2018. Dahmen competed at Miss Washington USA 2019 where she won the Miss Photogenic award and finished in the Top 16. She was runner-up to Miss Idaho USA 2020 Kim Layne. At Miss Idaho USA 2021, she finished in the Top 10.
The newly crowned Miss Idaho USA 2022 Jordana Dahmen’s court included –
1st Runner-up – Hannah Menzner
2nd Runner-up – Sierra Norman
3rd Runner-up – Alexis Ashley
4th Runner-up – Jackie Andreason
Apart from the winner and her court, Top 11 included Hayli Gudenau, Kaela Davis, Grace Mortensen, Lauren Saucedo, Abigale Kondel and Sara Archer.
On being crowned Miss Idaho USA 2022, Jordana took to his official social media to reveal her emotions in a post captioned, “It takes patience and a lot of faith but God’s timing is always on time. I am speechless when I think about the year ahead of me. For anyone out there doubting themselves. Trust the process. Work hard. Keep going. It took me 4 years wondering “what if” questioning if this dream was truly meant for me. I am blessed and honored to have the opportunity to serve and represent the state of Idaho this next year. I have MANY people to thank in the coming week. I couldn’t have done it without the amazing community I have been fortunate to have behind me throughout this journey. WE DID IT. We’re going to Miss USA.”
Also at the finale, Jenna Beckstrom was crowned Miss Idaho Teen USA 2022 as she became the official delegate of Idaho at Miss Teen USA 2022. Ellie Wolfe, Emma Bailey, Angelina Messecar and Madison Layne were adjudged first, second, third and fourth runners-up respectively.
