The Miss India United Continents organization hosted the coronation ceremony for the 2022 edition on 17th June 2022, where stunning divas from all over the country competed for the national title. At the end of the event, Sushmita Singh was crowned Miss India United Continents 2022 by Gail D'Silva, First Princess Miss United Continents 2014.

Sushmita took to her social media to share, “Thank you everyone for your undying support and love. Thank you for trusting in me with this huge responsibility. Thank you pageant pages and fans for being there for me throughout this journey as another unfolds. My family, friends and mentors I am because of you. Can’t wait to see all my other fellow contestants in Ecuador this July and be called as INDIA once again. We are in it to win it.”

Not new to pageantry, this 21 year old diva has won the coveted Miss Teen World 2019, the show which judged the girls on intelligence, behaviour, communication, fitness, fashion and glamour. Initially, during her teenage years, Sushmita was told she was not beautiful and was judged on the basis of her tom-boyish looks but the diva worked hard and stood for herself. “I want to serve as an inspiration to all girls to dare to live their dreams,” she shared.

She is a Mass Media student and is also interested in painting, sports and oration. She is currently working as an artist, actor, entrepreneur and a Tedx Speaker. She is strong, experienced and passionate towards representing the country internationally.

The upcoming edition of Miss United Continents 2022 is scheduled to be held in the month of July. Miss United Continents is an international beauty contest held annually since 2013. Miss United Continent is organized by the Municipality of Guayaquil and Gama TV, one of the largest in the country, which also organizes the event Miss Ecuador under the management of María del Carmen de Aguayo.
