The Miss Intercontinental organization has recently announced the official delegate from Argentina for the upcoming edition of the international pageant. Fiona Tenuta Vanerio will be representing the country at the 50th anniversary edition of the Miss Intercontinental pageant.

Marking a cross-over from Miss Universe, 24 years-old Fiona was appointed Miss Universe Uruguay 2019 through a casting process, after they could not find enough sponsors to hold an actual competition. She represented Uruguay at the Miss Universe 2019 pageant but unfortunately finished unplaced.

Fiona is a native of Buenos Aires, born in Argentina but raised in Uruguay. Standing 177cm tall, she also has a kind and giving heart. She is an honorary with a foundation named SOS Rescate de Fauna Marina that cares for and protects the marine species of Uruguay.

Fiona has a strong and firm personality and is an experienced beauty queen as well as a runway model. She can definitely prove to be a strong representative at the Miss Intercontinental 2022 platform. She succeeds Miss Argentina Intercontinental 2021 Antonella Túa for the title.

She is currently preparing for the stint and with her experience of delegation at a big international beauty pageant, she will be one of the most potential contestants this year. Miss Intercontinental 2021 Cinderella Faye Obenita of Philippines won the 49th edition of the international pageant on 29th October 2021 at Hotel Sunrise Diamond Beach resort, Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt. She will crown her successor at the end of the finale of the 50th Miss Intercontinental pageant.
