Miss Universe Philippines 2022, the 3rd edition of the Miss Universe Philippines, will be held on 30th April 2022 at the Mall of Asia Arena in Bay City, Pasay, Metro Manila, Philippines. Beatrice Luigi Gomez of Cebu City will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.

Anabelle Mae McDonnell has made it to Top 50 at the national competition representing Misamis Oriental. From Iligan City, Anabelle went to La Salle Academy, Iligan City. She studied AB Major in Consular and Diplomatic Affairs at De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde and works as a feature writer at The Benildean.

She is 21 years of age and stands 5 feet 9 inches tall. Anabelle will be competing in her first major international beauty pageant and she seems ready as she has made it to early favourites for the crown. Anabelle was born in the United Kingdom but grew up in Iligan City. The stunning beauty is a 3rd year Consular and Diplomatic Affairs student at the DLSU College of St. Benilde.

Not new to the pageant world, Anabelle has competed at quite a few local pageants; she has won several beauty titles including Miss Lanao Del Norte 2019, Miss Iligan 2018 and was 2019 Miss Millenial 2nd runner-up. She was recently crowned Miss Kuyamis 2022.

In 2019, she was also a part of Miss Millennial Philippines. Anabelle is also an academic standout and is a strong communicator. She will definitely be a strong contender for Miss Universe Philippines 2022 if she continues her efforts with hard work and determination.
