Miss Universe Philippines 2022, the 3rd edition of the Miss Universe Philippines, will be held on 30th April 2022 at the Mall of Asia Arena in Bay City, Pasay, Metro Manila, Philippines. Beatrice Luigi Gomez of Cebu City will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.

Ma. Cristel Antibo has made it to Top 50 at the national competition representing Negros Occidental. The 23-year-old stunning beauty has shown immense courage and determination to compete at the national competition.

Antibo was crowned Kadalag-an Festival Queen 2019 in Victorias City, Negros Occidental where she bested 11 other candidates to win the crown. Northern Negros Electric Cooperative was Antibo’s sponsor at Kadalag-an Festival Queen 2019. Aside from the title, she also won several awards including Miss Photogenic, Miss Boardwalk and the Venus’ Lions Club Award.

Currently, Antibo is based in Taguig, Metro Manila. In November 2019, she started working for InfiniVAN Inc. in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig as a corporate account executive.

Antibo is the fourth person from Negros Occidental to join Miss Universe Philippines following Vanessa Marie Java Vuelban, Angela Nikki de Grano and Ramona Yamat, who competed in 2021. The gorgeous beauty definitely has what it takes to win the crown and has already made it to several wishlists.
