Miss Intercontinental República Dominicana 2018 aka Miss Intercontinental Dominican Republic 2018 crowned Wilma Antoniazzi Florentino as their new queen and the official representative of Dominican Republic at Miss Intercontinental 2018.

From Santo Domingo, the 19-year-old Wilma Antoniazzi Florentino succeeds and was crowned by Miss Intercontinental Dominican Republic 2017 Cristina Gieringer Castillo. Wilma is a professional DBA model and a student of Universidad Autónoma de Santo Domingo (UASD). Ever since her crowning, the beautiful diva has been busy doing interviews and preparing for the Miss Intercontinental pageant finale.

On her crowning, Wilma took to her social media and expressed her feelings saying, “I do not have words yet! I'm really grateful to God for allowing me to get here, to my family for their constant support and Dominican beauty academy for this, to the dear director, the lady karumi suazo for the trust placed in me. Now is when I need to feel all the love and support of my friends. I promise to give my best to leave my beautiful country, the Dominican Republic, at the top. Thank you!”

Miss Intercontinental Dominican Republic 2017 Cristina Gieringer Castillo represented Domincan Republic at Miss Intercontinental 2017 and placed in the Top 18 semi-finalists at the finale. Wilma sure has big shoes to fill after her predecessor’s commendable performance.

Miss Intercontinental 2018 will hold its grand finale in January 2019 in Manila, Philippines where Veronica Salas will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.
