Miss Universe Iceland 2018 Finalist Hulda Vigdísardóttir

Miss Universe Iceland 2018 will host its grand coronation night on 21st August 2018 at the Hljómahöll Stapi Concert and Conference Hall in Reykjanesbær. The reigning queen, Miss Universe Iceland 2017 Arna Ýr Jónsdóttir will crown her successor at the conclusion of the finale.

The seventh contestant competing for the title, in the series of Angelopedia's Top 10 favourite contestants competing for the title, is Miss 101 District 2018 Hulda Vigdísardóttir.

Hulda was born and raised in 101 Reykjavík. After graduation at Menntaskólinn í Reykjavík where she majored in Languages (studied seven languages in total), she subsequently studied Linguistics at Háskóli Íslands. She completed her Bachelor‘s Degree in Icelandic and German two years later and at the age of 22 became the youngest ever to earn a Master's Degree in Icelandic Grammar.

She currently works at an advertising agency and has been working as a model for the past six years. Hulda danced ballet and contemporary dance for 13 years and today she loves doing yoga, pilates, swimming, hiking and trying out new things at the gym. One of her most favorite things to do is writing stories, articles as well as poetry and has plans to publish two books by next Christmas. She loves photography and has had her work displayed at exhibitions and published in magazines, such as Vogue and Solis Magazine and at the age of 18 placed 2nd in the reality TV-based show “Photography Competition of Iceland”.
