The coronation ceremony for Miss Intercontinental South Africa 2020 will be held soon where the delegates from all over the country will participate and compete for the national title as well as an opportunity to represent South Africa at the 49th edition of Miss Intercontinental i.e., Miss Intercontinental 2020 stage. Miss Intercontinental South Africa 2019 Dane Venter will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.
Miss Intercontinental South Africa organization has announced the names of Top 9 finalists who have been selected to compete for the crown. Belindé Bella Schreuder has caught our attention as she is emerging as one of the fan favourites for the title. Hailing from the city of Centurion, Gauteng; Belinde is 24-years-old and stands 177 cm tall. She has a diploma degree in Public Relations from Boston City Campus & Business College. She is also the ambassador of Ambassador for Adventures and The Rory Hensman Conservation and Research Unit, organizations that deal with raising awareness about the atrocities carried out against rhinos and elephants.
Belinde is not new to the beauty pageant world as she represented South Africa at Miss Grand International 2019 and was the first South African to advance to the semi-finals in the seven-year history of the pageant. She represented South Africa in Miss United Continents 2018 where she was appreciated for her performance and secured the position of the fourth runner-up at the finale, besides winning the special award of Best Smile. Thereafter, she was crowned Miss Supranational South Africa 2019 and went on to compete in Miss Supranational 2019, though remained unplaced at the finale.
Belinde has a lot of experience in the beauty pageant world as she has worked with various designers and photographers in order to gain experience, advocate her advocacy about being a voice for the animals and voiceless, and gain knowledge about the pageantry world. Although, she has been on international beauty pageant stage but she believes that working on oneself is a constant thing and she likes to be on top of her performance.
When asked about the experience at Miss Grand International 2019, Belindé says: "It was amazing. It was three weeks full of adventures, shoots, and lifelong friendships. I knew I wasn't alone on that stage but, instead had the whole of South Africa with me." The diva is full of positivity, hard work, and determination to be able to represent the country at international level. She believes that beauty begins the moment one decides to be oneself and not try to fit into the perfect box society has made.
Belinde has already started to prepare for the competition as she is working on her on-stage walk, body postures and angles and most importantly on her communication and interview skills which she believes is a very essential part of any beauty pageant. She wants to be ready before she appears on-stage to impress the judges and the audience. She is confident, beautiful, and very determined to get selected to compete at Miss Intercontinental South Africa 2020 and be able to win a chance to represent South Africa at Miss Intercontinental 2020 stage.
The diva who is an animal lover by heart feels extremely blessed and excited for the new journey in her life where she feels that she will be able to explore herself as well as inspire more women like her to be a part of beauty pageants in future. The diva makes sure to work out and eat healthy every day to stay fit and healthy for the future competition.
