At the conclusion of the finale of Miss Grand Thailand 2016 concluded with the crowning of Atitaya Khunnalapat as Miss Intercontinental Thailand 2016. Atitaya Khunnalapat succeeds Boonyanee Sungpirom Miss Intercontinental Thailand 2015, and will now represent Thailand at the Miss Intercontinental 2016 pageant.

24 years old Atitaya Khunnalapat hailing from the province of Sing Buri stands tall at a towering height of 174cm and dons an envious figure of 34-23.5-35.Atitaya is a student of Bachelors of Business Management, and enjoys cooking.

A total of 77 contestants were shortlisted from all the provinces of Thailand to compete for the coveted crowns. Miss Grand Thailand is a national pageant held in Thailand every year that selects representatives for the Miss Grand International. The contest is held every year to select and recruit the supreme women from Thailand who is heaved with beauty of knowledge and intellectual ability and could be a good role model. The organization aims at selecting women who can obtain the ability to encourage and support excellent social assistance.

At the same event, Supaporn Malisorn was crowned as Miss Grand Thailand 2016 and will now represent Thailand at the Miss Grand International 2016 pageant. Miss Ratchaburi Chatchadaporn “Aoii” Kimakorn was titled as Miss Supranational Thailand 2016 and will represent Thailand at the Miss Supranational 2016 pageant, Miss Chonburi June Pinicha was announced as Miss Tourism Thailand 2016 and Miss Phetchaburi Anna Anchana was declared as Top Model of World Thailand 2016.
