Miss International 2015 Finalists appointed as the ambassadors of Japan tourism

All the 72 delegates of the forthcoming Miss International 2015 beauty pageant has been appointed to promote Japan’s tourist places.

The contestants were elected as the tourism brand ambassador of “Land of the Rising Sun,” Japan on Tuesday. The decision was taken by the tourism Agency Commissioner Akihiko Tamura.

The agency hopes that the Miss International 2015 contestants will disseminate information about Japan’s tourist attraction through social networking services and other media.

The ceremony was held at a Tokyo hotel where the delegates of Miss International 2015 marked their presence wearing beautiful colorful dresses.

After receiving an appointment letter from Tourism Agency Commissioner, Akihiko Tamura, Helena Zuiani who was appointed to represent Argentina at the Miss International 2015 beauty pageant, told reporters that she has been impressed by Mount Fuji (It is an active volcano about 100 kilometers southwest of Tokyo).

Zuiani further said she would like to convey about the Japan’s attractive places to the people of Rgentina, when she flies back home.

We want you to be active in telling people in your home countries what you liked during your stay in Japan,” Tamura added.

A total number of 72 finalists will vie for the coveted crown of the Miss International 2015 that is slated to be held on November 5, 2015 at the Grand Prince Hotel New Takanawa’s Hiten Hall in Tokyo, Japan. Valerie Hernandez of Puerto Rico will crown her successor at the end of the event.
