Gorgeous and beautiful Margot Hanekamp, the first runner-up of Miss Netherlands 2015 will now represent her country at the Miss World 2015 pageant to be held on 19’ December 2015. Usually, the winner of Miss Netherlands represents her country at both Miss World and Miss Universe pageants. And likewise, this year too, Jessie Jazz Vuijk was appointed to compete at Miss Universe and Miss World. However, due to the conflicting dates of both the pageants, the first runner-up has been appointed to compete at Miss World 2015.
This means, that the winner Jessie will take off her journey to Vegas to represent Netherlands at the Miss Universe, and Margot will be off to China for the Miss World 2015. Margot even posted on her Facebook page stating, “Dear friends! It’s not far from now: around November 20th I’ll fly to China to represent the Netherlands at the Miss World beauty pageant!”
In 2014, Tatjana Maul represented the Netherlands at the Miss World in London, and made it to the Top 25. Netherlands has managed two Miss World winners so far; in 1959 Corine Rottschäfer of Hoorn and in 1962 Catherina Lodders of Haarlem managed to win the crown. Will Margot be able to bring the coveted crown of Miss World to Netherlands this year?
