Indonesia won the title of Miss International for the first time ever this year with Kevin Lilliana represented it in the competition. She brought the glory for Indonesia with her sweet looks and charming manners.

While many are behind the success of this cute queen, there are two people who’ve been a constant part of her life and have stood beside her through all the thick and thins in her life – her Mom and Dad. They gave the support and confidence which has made her achieve immense heights in her journey till now.

Pouring her gratitude for such lovely parents, the young queen has some kind words. She captioned on her Instagram, “Have you realize that our parents are the first educator in our life? They raised us well and taught us how to be a good person. In my opinion, who I am now and what I have become is because the way they treated me and things that they told me about the meaning of life.” Indeed, we agree with her.

She loves her mom immensely and feels loved to have in her life. This showed in her words, “My Mom always reminds me to be a well-mannered girl, to be kind-hearted and never forget to share good & positive things that I have (happiness, lessons, wealth and etc).”

A daddy’s girl through and through, her dad made her tough in his own way. He pushed her to be strong, independent and also a hard worker but never forgot to spoil her. After all, she will always be his little girl.

Further to her message she concluded, “Dear Mom and Dad, I would like to say thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the things that you have taught me, all the sacrifices that you have made and all the love that you have provided me. I’ll do my best to make you both proud of me. Love you.”

Now, this is extremely sweet of her to write such respectful words for her parents and also shows how simple and grounded she is. Her simplicity is probably biggest reason she is such a loved queen.
