Miss International 2019 officially began as the Press Presentation of the contest was held on 28th October 2019 at the Tokyo Dome Hotel where the delegates walked on the stage in their stunning National Costumes and were officially introduced to the media.

Miss International Tunisia 2019 Sarra Brahmi, received Miss Visit Japan Tourism Ambassador 2019 certificateon behalf of the delegates from the Chief of the Japan Tourism Agency, Mr. Tabata. While all the delegates dazzled at the presentation, there were a few who stood out from the rest –

Miss International Indonesia 2019 Jolene Marie Cholock-Rotinsulu

Jolene Marie wore a National Costume named ‘The Legend of Dewi Rengganis’ accompanied by intricate cultural detailing. She looked absolutely stunning and carried herself with grace and elegance. The legend tells the story of King Brawijaya’s daughter, one of the kings of the Majapahit Kingdom. According to the legend, the daughter has a beautiful face which made the princes and kings of Java want to marry her. The theme was chosen because Jolene climbed Argopuro mountain, the longest climbing track in Indonesia as Jolene managed to reach the three peaks.

Pawani Vithanage Miss International Sri Lanka 2019

Pawani, the official delegate of Sri Lanka, dazzled in her National Costume at the Press Presentation. Her outfit spoke of her country’s culture and heritage as she depicted the rich history of Sri Lanka. From her snake headgear to her beautifully detailed outfit, Pawani managed to steal the show.

Simrithi Bathija Miss International India 2019

Simrithi’s outfit was inspired by the idea of Incredible India created by Neha Kumar. Incredible India is the vision of the government of India to promote the tourism and culture of India. The colour of the costume is an identity of national flag. The name of costume is lehenga choli which is inspired by the national flag and culture of India. The back view of the dress represents kathakali, which is a classical dance of India.The head gear is known as Mattha patta and the jewellery simply adds a beautiful Indian touch to the attire. The Indian diva rocked the stage in her outfit as well.

Andrea Toscano Miss International Mexico 2019

Andrea showcased her national costume which generated smiles and good impressions to the audience. Lele Doll is a traditional toy for the indigenous people in Mexico. It was named as cultural patrimony, and it also represents the handcrafts and traditions. Some parts of it were made by indigenous people in Queretaro and the rest by Tony Verduzco from Colima. Through this doll, the costume shows how the people want to preserve the magic, tenderness and innocence of childhood. Carrying herself with dignity and elegance, Andrea definitely made a strong impression at the press presentation.

Betzaida Elizabeth Rodríguez Miss International Panama 2019

Betzaida Elizabeth Rodríguez wore a costume named ‘El Diablico Sucio’ by Aristides Carrasco. Smiling throughout, the Panama beauty represented her culture and heritage with grace and beauty. She definitely is a strong contender for the crown this year.

Patch Magtanong Miss International Philippines 2019

Wearing a creation by Amir Sali, Patch looked absolutely breath taking at the Press Conference. The outfit was Tausug inspired and the Filipina beauty definitely showcased her costume enriched in culture and traditions of her country.

Harriotte Lane Miss International UK 2019

Harriotte’s national costume depicted the queen of birds in the United Kingdom, the Mute Swan.The reigning monarch Queen Elizabeth II owns and protects all of them as they grace our wildlife. The traditional outfit showcased how people should celebrate the differences and support those with the greatest of dreams and help them achieve them.

Melissa Jimenez Miss International Venezuela 2019

Melissa Jimenez dazzled in her white tradition outfit which was inspired by the Legend of Princess Majayura of the Guajira ethnic group in Venezuela. With her phenomenal walk in her outfit and confidence, Melissa definitely rocked the Press Presentation. She is also one of the strongest contenders at the contest so far.
