Sri Lanka is all set to send its representative to Miss International 2019 as Pawani Vithanage was crowned Miss International Sri Lanka 2019 by her predecessor Miss International Sri Lanka 2018 Natalee Fernando. The finale was held on 27th September 2019 6.30 pm on Rupavahini.

Pawani performed with excellence and dedication at the national contest. From Colombo, Sri Lanka, Pawani  Goes to University of Kelaniya. Not new to the pageantry, Pawani also won the title of Miss Grand Sri Lanka last year in 2018 and went on to represent Sri Lanka in Miss Grand International 2018. She placed in the Top 20 with her outstanding performance.

With her experience and her stunning beauty, Pawani will definitely raise her country’s flag high and might as well win the crown. Pawani’s aim is to be a social service provider to help people who are in need and to become boss of her own company in the future.

Moreover, the production of the event where the diva was crowned was top notch as the event was held in grandeur with splendid preparations. The newly crowned queen’s court boasts of 1st Runner up Tamashi Disssanayakaand 2nd Runner up Ayesha Madubhashini as both the divas gave a tough competition to Pawani for the crown.

Last year, Natalee Fernando Miss International Sri Lanka 2019 participated in Miss International 2018 but failed to win a spot in the Top. Sri Lanka is yet to win its first Miss International crown.
