Miss International 2022, the 60th edition of the international pageant, was held today i.e. 13th December 2022 at the Tokyo Dome City Hall in Tokyo, Japan where Jasmin Selberg of Germany became her country’s fourth representative to win the title.
Miss International Africa – Stephany Amado of Cape Verde
Stephany Amado of Cape Verde was awarded with the title of Miss International Africa 2022, the first ever for her country. Stephany Amado made history as she was crowned as the first ever Miss Cabo Verde International at the finale of the inaugural edition of the national pageant held on 3rd September 2022 and became the official representative of Cabo Verde at Miss International 2022. Debuting her country’s representation this year, Amado showed immense capability for the crown since the beginning of the competition. She has a strong personality and is very photogenic. She has now become the highest rank holder from her country at the international pageant.
Miss International America – Corrin Stellakis of USA
The Miss US International organization hosted its coronation night on 25th June 2021 where Corrin Stellakis of New York was crowned as Miss US International 2021 and became the official representative of USA at Miss International 2022. Corrin is 23 years of age and a graduate in Communication Social Interaction and Psychology from State University of New York Oswego. She wants to speak to the country’s youth and encourage them to dream, believe in their dream and to forward their effort to achieve their goals. With her stellar performance, Corrin was awarded Miss International America 2022.
Miss International Asia – Kiko Matsuo of Japan
The Miss International Japan organization hosted the latest edition of the Miss International Japan pageant, i.e. Miss International Japan 2022 on 30th November 2021, at Byuti and Wellness College where Kiko Matsuo was crowned the new queen as she became the official representative of Japan at Miss International 2022. Being the host country delegate, Kiko was under added pressure to perform well and represent her country well at the stage. Kiko is 22 years of age and hails from Saga prefecture in Kyushu, Japan. She is passionate about learning languages, business nuances and appreciates both inner and outer beauty. Although Kiko failed to place in the Top 15, she won the Miss International Asia 2022 crown.
Miss International Europe – Anna Merimää of Finland
Anna Merimää of Finland impressed everyone with her confidence and personality. She previously held the title of Top Model of the World 2016. A student at Turku University of Applied Sciences, Anna also competed well at the Miss International 2022 competition. Finland has won Miss International title before but has placed 18 times in the Top 15 at the pageant. Anna also placed in the Top 15 and won the continental title.
Miss International Oceania – Lydia Smit of New Zealand
Lydia Smit is 24 years-old and stands 181cm tall. She is a professional public speaker and graduated with an honours degree in Management, specializing in International Management. Lydia works for Mevo Limited, New Zealand’s leading and fastest-growing car share company. Its mission is to create beautiful & more livable cities by offering a better alternative to private car ownership with a strong environmental focus. With her personal accomplishments, her stunning personality and beautiful features, Lydia placed in the Top 15 as well as won the continental title.
