Recently, the Miss International organisation updated its fans with the announcement that “none of the national directors have been involved in the recent issue regarding the false account, nor have they instigated it.” The post was directed for the fans of one of the most reputed Big 4 beauty pageants in the world.
Earlier, this month, soon after the crowning of beloved Kylie Versoza of Philippines, as Miss International 2016, the Miss International social media page was flooded by negative remarks and a backlash by a fake account by the name ‘ambassadoracve’. The account was impersonating one of the judges and was accusing the organisation of wrongly judging the pageant and giving the crown to Philippines under influence.

The organisation has stated very clearly that the account was fake and no judge, or Miss International Organisation personnel was involved in starting this outrage. According to the false story, President Duterte had influenced the selection of Miss International winner. The organisation has started an investigation to find out who the account belongs to.
The MI organisation, on their social media page, said, “It is disappointing and unfortunate that this has happened and we are carrying out an investigation. Miss International takes these matters extremely seriously and are doing all we can to resolve the issue.”
The organisation also apologized both to the fans and the judges for the confusion. They also thanked the fans of the reputed pageant for their support, and understanding, and requested the same from the public. Well, we are all happy for the remarkable win of Philippines, who wouldn’t be?
