María Alejandra Salazar who was crowned National Viceroy at the finale of the national competition Señorita Colombia 2020 on 11th November 2019 is now confirmed to represent the country at Miss International 2021. The diva has succeeded Miss International Colombia 2019 Alejandra Vengoechea for the title who was adjudged as the third runner-up at Miss International 2019.

The news of Alejandra representing Colombia at Miss International 2021 was also confirmed by the model management agency; Contacto Basico Model Mgmt under which María Alejandra Salazar works as a professional model.

María Alejandra Salazar Rojas is 23 years-old and stands 173 cm tall. She is a student of Social Communication and Journalism at the Universidad Minuto de Dios Corporation and has a bachelor’s degree in English from the Universidad Surcolombiana. She dreams of graduating as a Social Communicator and Journalist and leading projects with social meaning. She is passionate about beauty pageants and could prove to be a strong contender at Miss International 2021.

The diva is not new to the world of beauty pageant as she first competed in the regional competition where she represented her province Garzon at Huila and was highly appreciated for her performance and managed to place at the top 3. In 2019, the diva was named as the new queen of Huila, becoming a strong competitor for the title of Miss Colombia. During the competition, she stood out for her competitive level, which led her to be part of the top 3 of the Queen of Police special contest and, later, to win the prize for the best handmade suit. The final night came, where she was proclaimed National Viceroy of Beauty.

The diva gave a stellar performance in the national competition and competed gracefully with eloquence and smartness. The diva’s attributes are just exquisite for the title and she is a potential winner of the coveted title of Miss International 2021. Since the announcement, the pageant fanatics have been pouring their support and love for the diva as they believe that she is an ideal candidate for representing Colombia at Miss International 2021.
