Sheyla Ravelo Perez is the newly crowned Miss International Cuba 2023 who will now prepare to represent Cuba at Miss International 2023. Perez succeeds and was crowned by Miss International Cuba 2022 Rachel Martín.

Sheyla Ravelo Perez was born in San Antonio de Los Baños, Cuba but immigrated to the United States when she was four years old. She is a first-generation college student where she attended the University of Florida and graduated with honours.

Sheyla is no stranger to pageantry as she held the title of Miss Lehigh Acres at the state pageant of Miss Florida USA 2017. As Miss Earth Cuba 2022, she competed at the 22nd edition of Miss Earth on 29th November 2022 at in Manila, Philippines where she placed in the Top 12.

On winning the Miss International Cuba 2023 crown, Sheyla took to her official social media as she wrote, “With a grateful heart and a humbled spirit, I vow to represent nuestra patria with grace and dignity as I wear Cuba across my heart and once again make history para nuestra isla bella. Checking in as your Miss International Cuba 2023.”

Miss International 2023, the 61st edition of Miss International, is scheduled to be held at the Yoyogi Gymnasium No. 2 in Shibuya, Tokyo, Japan on 26th October 2023 where Miss International 2022 Jasmin Selberg of Germany will crown her successor at the end of the event finale!
