Celinee Santos Frias to represent Dominican Republic at Miss International 2022

The organization of Miss Mundo Dominican hosted the coronation for the 2021 edition on 4th September 2021 at Barceló Bávaro Grand Resort in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, where 24 delegates from all over the country competed to represent Dominica Republic at international beauty pageants. Celinee Santos Frias was crowned Miss International Dominican Republic 2021 at the end of the event. She succeeds Miss International Dominican Republic 2019 Zaidy Bello and will represent the country at the 60th edition of Miss International pageant.

Hailing from representing San Francisco de Macoris, 22 years-old Celinee stands 180 cm tall and is pursuing her law degree. She likes to dance, is a professional model and is passionate about maintaining herself in proper shape. Celinee is a fashion enthusiast and is very close to her family. Not new to pageantry, she represented Duarte at Miss Dominican Republic 2019, where she finished in the Top 6. Later in December 2019, she represented Dominican Republic at Miss Intercontinental 2019 in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt and finished in the Top 20.

 

 

After being crowned Miss International  Dominican Republic 2021, Celinee took to her social media to share, “Before you I present myself as the new Miss International Dominican Republic. Thanks to all of you for your great support, to my work team and of course to the organization of Miss Mundo Dominicana. Let's go with everything!”

She feels extremely proud in representing her country at an international level and hopes to win the title for the country. Frias will represent the Dominican Republic at Miss International 2022. Miss International 2022 will be the 60th edition of the Miss International pageant. The coronation of the 60th edition was initially scheduled in 2020. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it moved at least twice; first in 2021 and now recently postponed to 2022. Sireethorn Leearamwat of Thailand will crown her successor at the end of the event.
