The Miss International Japan organization is all set to host the latest edition of the Miss International Japan pageant on 30th November 2021, at Byuti and Wellness College, where Chiho Terauchi of Utsunomiya City will crown her successor at the end of the event.

The winner of Miss International Japan will advance to the international stage, the 60th Miss International Beauty Pageant. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Japan, in June 2020, Miss International organization announced that the annual 2020 competition was cancelled. Now, on 31st August 2021, due to the rising cases caused by the SARS-CoV-2 Delta variant, the organization announced that the edition is rescheduled to the autumn of 2022.
