The grand coronation of the 59th edition of Miss International beauty pageant that held on 12th November 2019 at Tokyo Dome City Hall in Bunkyo, Japan, where various delegates from across the globe proved their worth in the pageant and vied for the coveted international crown. Sireethorn Leearamwat of Thailand was crowned the new queen at the conclusion of the event finale by the outgoing Miss International 2018 Mariem Velazco of Venezuela.
The gala night was no less than a glamorous one as it began with a full-tilt as all the contestants were introduced to the versed panel of judges in the first round of National Costume Competition. While all the candidates performed with sincerity and grace, Andrea Isabel Toscano of Mexico stood out from the rest with her charming beauty.
The Mexican beauty showcased her national costume which generated smiles and good impressions to the audience. She was dressed like a Lele Doll which is a traditional toy for the indigenous people in Mexico. It was named as cultural patrimony, and it also represents the handcrafts and traditions. Some parts of it were made by indigenous people in Queretaro and the rest by Tony Verduzco from Colima. Through this doll, the costume shows how the people want to preserve the magic, tenderness and innocence of childhood. Carrying herself with dignity and elegance, Andrea left everyone awestruck.
Andrea won over everyone’s heart in a white glimmering evening gown. She flaunted her aesthetic beauty in her shimmery gown and confidently spoke at the Speech Competition round. At the Special Awards round, the Mexican beauty dazzled in the space-grey slightly shimmering swimsuit. Walking with poise and confidence, Andrea astonished everyone with her perfect walk and fit physique.
Performed with extreme dedication and sincerity, Andrea won the position of the first runner-up. However, with her brilliant performance, everyone expected her to win the international crown but she still managed to bag one of the best positions at the conclusion.
