Erika Kazombaruru to represent Namibia at 60th Miss International pageant

The Beauty of Africa Internaitonal Pageant has appointed Erika Kazombaruru as the official representative of Namibia for the 60th Miss International pageant and will make history as the second Namibian to compete at Miss International. Namibia will be returning to the stage after 10 years, taking over the legacy that Paulina Malulu started.

Erika shared, “Ready to represent Namibia! I’m officially the second representative from Namibia at Miss International, this comes with so much excitement. I want to thank the Beauty of Africa International Pageant for giving me this opportunity and for believing in me. Hop onto my journey as we raise the land of the brave’s flag!”

 

 

23 year-old Erika hails from Swakopmund, Namibia. She is a beautiful award winning Namibian model and the reigning queen of the BAIP International Pageant. The diva holds clear love for modeling, and pageants occupy a special spot in her heart, and she intends to make a career out of modelling.

She joined pageantry in 2020 and initially contested to boost her confidence. Miss Face of Namibia was her first pageant, and she landed in the top five, much to her surprise. She finished fourth runner-up in the Miss Face of Namibia 2020 competition, and her life in pageants changed forever after that.

 

 

Erika later went ahead to contest for Miss Namibia Pageant 2021 and then for the Beauty of Africa Pageant Namibia, and won the latter.  She represented Namibia at the BAIP International Pageant held virtually due to the COVID-19 Pandemic and won the title after an intense competition. She also won the BAIP International Pageant's Best National Costume award. She had to journey to Bayelsa, Nigeria, to receive the BAIP International Crown.

The newly appointed Miss International Namibia 2022 will now represent the country at the 60th edition of the pageant. Unfortunately the Miss International pageant was postponed to the 2021 edition, which was again cancelled amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and the 60th Miss International Beauty Pageant, will now be held in the fall of 2022.
