Philippines found its official candidate for Miss International Tourism 2018, and Elijah Nicole Mela was appointed Miss International Tourism Philippines 2018. The international pageant, Miss International Tourism 2018, will be held on June 14, 2018 at Bulgaria.
Melo is a 17yr old Senior High student at Lyceum of the Philippines, Makiling Campus in Laguna. This talented dance sports enthusiast has been a born-performer according to her mom. Her determination to everything she does has been very evident as she never quits despite any failures but rather she keeps on picking up herself to stand up.
QBP Philippines is now preparing Elijah to represent Philippines in an international competition. She will be training under Kagandahang Flores.
The main purpose of Miss International Tourism is to promote hospitality of the host country, as well as friendship and cultural relations between nations, development and infrastructure of tourism. Another purpose is to attract guests and tourists from all over the world to the host country
