Glyssa Bingas Perez bids for Miss World Philippines 2018

Amongst many bids by former queens, First Runner-up Miss World Philippines 2017 Glyssa Bingas Perez will also be applying for the Miss World Philippines 2018 competition.

Glyssa Bingas Perez is an Australian born Filipina. Both parents are of Filipino descent. Her mother hails from the beautiful island of Danao Bohol and her father who comes from Hagonoy Bulacan.

Glyssa graduated with a bachelor’s degree in commerce majoring in finance in Sydney, Australia she was notably awarded best in finance in 2015.

Glyssa isn’t new to Beauty pageants she was crowned Miss Woodcroft at the age of 16 in 2011, Miss WOW Blacktown, Miss WOW Charity in 2012, Miss Philippines-Australia 2014, Miss Bohol 2016, Miss JCI Visayas 2016, Miss JCI Philippines 2016 and most recently Miss World Philippines 2017 1st Princess.

She has used her platform as a beauty queen to highlight the great need in providing service to the wider community both in Australia and the Philippines.

She has dedicated herself in serving her community and hopes to inspire young people to be empowered and to be able to make a difference.

She is the very first representative from Danao to have won the prestigious title of Miss Bohol 2016 which has been going on for more than 65+ years. She won 3 crowns in 2016 (Miss Bohol 2016, Miss JCI Visayas 2016 & Miss JCI Philippines 2016). She is an avid fan of old classic martial arts movies. She loves the great outdoors. She has won 7 crowns and counting with almost 21+ special awards.
