Pageant Veteran, Luwi Kawanda is all set to represent Zambia in Miss International 2019 as she has been appointed the title recently. She was crowned Miss Grand Zambia 2019 before but due to the political uncertainty in the host country of Venezuela, her organization has decided to send her to Miss International instead of Miss Grand International. She is 25 years of age.
Not new to the pageantry, Luwi has numerous titles under her belt; she is the winner of Miss University Africa Zambia 2015, she was Miss Heritage Zambia 2016 3rd Runner-up, Miss Tourism Zambia 2016 and Miss Universe Zambia 2017 2nd Runner-up. The Public administrator definitely can be a front runner at the contest this year.
Being an active beauty queen, she has launched an advocacy for young children which is also her passion. She shows quality of empathy, passion and compassion and might as well win the crown for her country.

Zambia did not send any representative to Miss International last year. Infact, the last time Zambia participated in the pageant was in 2015. The country is yet to pioneer its win in Miss International beauty pageant.
