Miss Iraq organization is all set to begin with the 2022 edition of the national pageant where beauties from all over the country will compete for Miss Iraq 2022 crown. At the end of the event finale, the winner will be crowned who will represent Iraq at Miss Universe and/or Miss World.

Maria Farhad Miss Iraq 2021 will crown her successor at the end of the event finale. She represented Iraq at Miss World 2021 but remained unplaced. However, she won Best Designer Dress Award (2nd Runner-up).
