Miss Ireland 2018 Aoife O’Sullivan to raise funds and awareness about Breast Cancer in Ireland

The former primary school teacher from Cork, Ireland and the currently crowned Miss Ireland 2018 Aoife O’Sullivan is all set out on the mission to raise awareness and funds for Breast cancer Ireland supported by The Joe Duffy Group. The 23-year-old is stepping up for ‘The Battle of Stars’ which will be held in Dublin’s Clayton Hotel, Burlington Road on Saturday, 13th April 2019 for Breast Cancer Ireland. The annual gala is expected to raise all the necessary funds for research and creating awareness about breast cancer in Ireland. All the proceedings of the event will go into the research and development to find the cure for breast cancer.

The beautiful and kind Aoife took to her social media and shared the news of her participation and lending support for the noble cause with pictures on social media of her practising for the dance competition where participants are required to lip-sync and dance in front of a panel of judges and the audience. She expressed, “Delighted to be involved in Battle of the Stars in support of Breast Cancer Ireland with this lovely bunch”. Participants are required to spend the next couple of weeks training and learning rigorous choreographies and spend time with a team of stylist before the final performance in front of an audience of over 450 people.

Breast Cancer Ireland which will present ‘The Battle of Stars’ will witness the participation of Aoife O’Sullivan also includes famous faces like Mr Ireland 2018 Wayne Walsh, Jenny Buckley, model Kerri Nicole Blanc, social influencer and Dancing with the Stars reporter James Patrice, Limerick TD Tom Neville, GAA All-Star and former Mayo footballer Dermot Flanagan, former Welsh rugby player Richard Keatleyalong with a number of breast cancer survivors including 98FM news reporter Georgie Crawford.

Other participants will include representatives from title sponsors The Joe Duffy Group and Cornmarket Group Financial Services.
