Ivanna McMahon crowned Miss Ireland 2022

Miss Ireland organization held the finale of the 2022 edition at The Royal Theatre Castlebar on Saturday where Ivanna McMahon was crowned Miss Ireland 2022. The organization celebrated its Diamond Jubilee Ceremony this year.

Ivanna McMahon represented Munster at the national contest. She is a doctor by profession. Ivanna McMahon studied medicine at the University College Cork and graduated in 2020. She is currently taking a year out, following working in the GP Scheme at Tralee General Hospital. The Clare native amazed the audience with her performance on the harp.

 

 

Jasmine Gerhardt representing Dublin Central and Katie O'Connor representing Dublin were first and second runners up respectively. Ivanna was crowned by outgoing Miss Ireland Pamela Uba.

At the end of the event finale, Maiya McMonagle was crowned Miss Eco-Ireland for her sustainable fashion brand as well as her work in promoting environmental issues. The theme of this year’s edition was 'Our World Our Future' with a focus on the environment and global citizenship.
