Shanique Singh crowned Miss World Jamaica 2022

The coronation night of Miss Jamaica World 2022 was held on 4th December 2022 at the Courtleigh Auditorium in Kingston where Shanique Singh was crowned the new queen as she became the official representative of Jamaica at Miss World 2022.

 

 

Shanique bested twelve other delegates to win the national crown. Shanique is 25 years of age and a medical student at the University of the West Indies. At the competition, she also won the Beach Beauty and the Talent competitions.

The newly crowned Miss Jamaica World 2022 Shanique Singh’s court included –

1st Runner-up – Lineisha Davis

2nd Runner-up – Tahje Bennett

 

 

Along with the winner and her court, Asheka Robinson and Toni-Ann Martin rounded out the Top 5 finalists.

Shanique succeeds and was crowned by Miss Jamaica World 2021 Khalia Hall. Her ‘Beauty With A Purpose’ project is focused on the holistic approach to the reproductive and sexual health of women in her country and all over the globe.

Jamaica has won the Miss World crown four times with Miss World 1963 Carole Crawford, Miss World 1976 Cindy Breakspeare, Miss World 1993 Lisa Hanna, and Miss World 2019 Toni-Ann Singh. Congratulations to the newly crowned queen.
