Braea Tilford was crowned Miss Kentucky USA 2018 on 28th January 2018 in the event finale held at Clifton Centre, Louisville, Kentucky. She succeeds and was crowned by the outgoing Miss Kentucky USA 2017 Madelynne Myers.
From Louisville, Braea is a Communication graduate from the University of Louisville. She is also the Founder and CEO of Grow Lead Inspire, a leadership conference that promotes self-love, leadership, education and well-being for teenage girls around the state of Kentucky.
Braea is also a model, who was seen strutting through the streets at the New York Fashion Week last year.
Miss Kentucky USA 2015 Katie George hosted the finale along with Perrin Johnson, looking ever so gorgeous. Braea aka Queen B stole everyone’s heart at the finale night. She looked ravishing in her red glittering gown at the crowning ceremony and got emotional after her name was announced as the winner of the coveted competition.
Last year, Braea was placed as the first runner-up in Miss Kentucky USA 2017 after an extremely tight decision where, for the first time in pageant history, there was a tie for the winner slot.
At the end of the event finale, Jordan Crozier was crowned Miss Kentucky Teen USA 2018 by the outgoing Miss Kentucky Teen USA 2017 Olivia Prewitt.
