Miss Maine USA 2022, the 71st edition of the state pageant, was held on 20th March 2022 at Sheraton Sable Oaks, South Portland, Maine where twenty-five delegates competed for the state crown. At the end of the event finale, Elizabeth Kervin was crowned Miss Maine USA 2022 as she succeeded Veronica Iris Bates for the crown.
Elizabeth will represent Maine at Miss USA 2022. The stunning beauty lives in Winterport, Waldo County and is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in biology at Husson University in Bangor, Penobscot County. The 20-year-old diva gave a stellar performance at the state finals. The winner’s court included –
1st Runner-up – Lauren Headley
2nd Runner-up – Sarah Phelps
3rd Runner-up – Juliana Morehouse
4th Runner-up – Hannah Feliciano
Top 11 also included Elizabeth Robbins (Bangor), Destiny Ryalls (Dover-Foxcroft), Amanda Jean Hogg (Forest Lake), Ayia Arbi (Hiram), Helena Higgins (Old Port) and Ariel Michaela Sullivan (York County).
Also at the finale, Madisson Higgins was crowned Miss Maine Teen USA 2022 and became the official representative of Maine at Miss Teen USA 2022. Jada Kairys, Isabelle Baumann, Abbigail Leblanc and Kate Wesley were adjudged first, second, third and fourth runners-up respectively.
