Anlia Charifa was crowned Miss Mayotte 2020 on 7th November 2020 behind the close doors in order to take the necessary precautions for the ongoing pandemic. She has succeeded Miss Mayotte 2019 Eva Labourdere for the title and will be representing the province at Miss France 2021 scheduled to be held in the month of December 2020.

Anila is 23-years-old and stands 177 cm tall and is a master's student in digital marketing who describes herself as determined and strong contender for the title of Miss France 2021. She is very excited to take over the crown duties as Miss Mayotte 2020 and has started to prepare for the finale event.

Anlia has extensive experience in beauty contests as Miss Mayotte 2020 was the second attempt of the diva for the title. She was adjudged as the first runner-up at Miss Mayotte 2019 competition and after winning the title of Miss Mayotte 2020, she now hopes to carry the colors of Mayotte and its women high.

The diva had mentioned, "When I finished first runner-up last year, I find it a lesson in life because I took maturity. Today I see “the best version" of myself and intend to triumph at Puy du Fou to show as many people as possible the strength of character of the Mahoraises, "beating, intelligent women".
