Lyna Boyer was crowned Miss Reunion Isalnd 2020 on 31st October 2020 at the Théâtre de Champ-Fleuri in Saint-Denis. She has succeeded Miss Reunion Island 2019 Morgane Lebon for the title and will be representing the province at Miss France 2021 scheduled to be held in the month of December 2020.
Lyna is 21-years-old and stands 173 cm tall and is currently in her third year of a Bachelor in Management who describes herself as sporty and dynamic. She aspires to create her own clothing brand after she completes her studies. She is very excited to take over the crown duties as Miss Reunion Island 2020 and perform her best at the competition. For her, participating in the Miss France election is a "dream but also a goal"; "I want to represent the values of our island".

Lyna is not new to world of beauty pageants as she was a part of Miss France 2017 and was adjudged as the first runner-up at the end of the event finale. After winning the title, she had stated, "I am very happy with my ranking, I was elected Miss Reunion, and I say thank you to all the people who believed in me, who voted for me. It is an honour for me to make my parents proud. (...) Representing my island has always been something important to me ".
The diva is proud of the trust she is given as she will use the platform given to her to highlight one of the causes close to her heart: ‘bullying’. A scourge of which she was the victim during her adolescence. "I have been the victim of bullying, but I found out myself through my perseverance. There has been criticism, there was mockery. I took a lot on me, I had it's hard to talk to my parents about it. That's why I want to convey this message and tell all these people, who are in this situation, to talk about it.” The diva had mentioned that she confides in cult film ‘The Untouchables’ of Eric Toledano and Olivier Nakache and its motto: "Back to better jump".
Lyna also wants to focus her reign on creating awareness about fight against violence against violence. She believes that violence against women is a cause that she wants to defence and would do everything in her power to associate with people to help the ones working in the same field. “I will try humbly to convey messages and to help every woman, every person who lives in this situation ", she continues.
