The Miss Mesoamerica International organization hosted the 30th edition of the international pageant in San Salvador, El Salvador, where stunning delegates from all over the world competed for the title. At the end of the event, Paraguay’s Lisel Benitez was crowned Miss Mesoamerica International 2022 as she succeeded Ismelys Velasquez for the title.

Princesa Miss Mesoamerica International - Aleska Irina Cordido of Venezuela       

First finalist – Fernanda Rivero of Bolivia

Second finalist – Mei Azo of Peru

Third finalist – Darian Castillo Perez representing Dominican Republic

After being crowned as the new queen, Lisel took to her social media to express her gratitude as she shared, “Thank you my God for this great honor, I felt you present with me at every moment! Thank you Paraguay, we take home the crown.”

Apart from the top court, USA’s Nikita McElroy won the Miss Simpatia and Miss Model awards. The Miss Popular and Miss Fotogenica awards were won by Mei Azo of Peru. Other awardees included, Philippines’ Maricres Valdez Castro winning the Miss Personality, Aleska Irina Cordido of Venezuela winning Miss Figura and Scarlett Quintanilla of El Salvador winning Miss Elegancia.
