Miss Universe Philippines 2022, the 3rd edition of the Miss Universe Philippines, will be held on 30th April 2022 at the Mall of Asia Arena in Bay City, Pasay, Metro Manila, Philippines. Beatrice Luigi Gomez of Cebu City will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.

Nyca Mae Bernardo has made it to the Top 50 at the national competition representing Bulacan Province. Nyca holds a degree in Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management from Bulacan State University and currently works as a co-Host at Radyo Bandido. She has formerly served as a president at Smpcs Student Council.

Bernardo is no stranger to the world of beauty competitions. She previously won the crowns of Miss Bulacan 2018 and Mutya ng Bulacan 2017. A fervent advocate of women’s rights, Nyca is 22 years of age. When Nyca was young, she dreamt of becoming a professional wrestler and had already claimed two WWE championship belts by then.
