Miss Universe Philippines 2022, the 3rd edition of the Miss Universe Philippines, will be held on 30th April 2022 at the Mall of Asia Arena in Bay City, Pasay, Metro Manila, Philippines. Beatrice Luigi Gomez of Cebu City will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.

Shanelyn Bayson has made it to the Top 50 at the national competition representing Victorias City, Negros Occidental. Bayson is 21 years of age and currently works as an online seller and student intern.

Shanelyn grew up living a simple life. She wants to pursue the journey of becoming the next Miss Universe Philippines and emerge victorious. The diva is dedicated to her dreams and is downright graceful. Explaining why she deserves to be the next queen, Bayson shared, “The road to Miss Universe Philippines crown is never easy. Looking back to our previous queen, who fought an amazing battle through represent and bring home the crown for the Philippines is a proof. Now, another woman is eager to take a step to make the country proud once again.”

“She is passionate about her platform and ready to shine in the dark times of pandemic. She is dedicated to bring her advocacy to life and for her voice to be heard. She is on fire to give an impact to the lives of every woman, to accept and embrace herself. That woman is me, deserving to be your next Miss Universe Philippines 2022,” she continued.
