Miss Mexico 2020 commences catwalk challenge

Miss Mexico organization will host the coronation ceremony soon where the delegates of different provinces from across the country who will vie for the crown of Miss Mexico 2020 and the opportunity to represent Mexico in Miss World 2020. However, there has not been any official announcement regarding the date and venue of the event, the pageant fanatics presume it to be sometime in August/September 2020.

 

Miss Mexico 2020 commences catwalk challenge

 

Recently the organization posted a picture of the round 1 of the Catwalk Challenge where the delegate will be uploading their videos from their respective homes and the audience would be able to vote for their favourite. The audience can vote for the next 24 hours that started from 17th May 2020 and will be able to support their favourite, the 12 winners plus the top 4nd places will advance to round two. This challenge is just a breakthrough in the preparation of the participants for the national contest, all videos are made at home following the corresponding instructions in the face of the COVID19 contingency we are facing. This is an unofficial challenge and will not add points to the winners and is being taken on to keep the delegates as well as the fans motivated and interested.

The first catwalk challenge has taken place between Miss State of Mexico 2020 Pearl Franco and Miss Nayarit 2020 Alejandra Avila at Mexico’s social media account. The further challenges will take place in the following manner:

 

 

Last year, Miss Mexico 2019 Ashley Alvídrez Estrada from Chihuahua represented Mexico at Miss World 2019 where she was not only appreciated for her performance but also finished at Top 12 at the end of the event finale.
