Miss USA 2018 will hold its finale on 21st May 2018 at the Hirsch Memorial Coliseum in Shreveport, Louisiana where Miss USA 2017 Kara McCullough will crown her successor from the 51 contestants who will fight for the national title.
But before that, let’s take a look at the top 10 contenders of the national crown who can, in our opinion, represent the USA at Miss Universe 2018. In a series of features, we will introduce these wonderful women who definitely have what it takes to win Miss USA 2018.
Laine Alden Mansour was crowned Miss Mississippi USA 2018 for Miss USA 2018 at the Gold Strike Casino in Robinsonville, Mississippi by the outing Miss Mississippi USA 2017, Ashley Marie Hamby.
She is a student at the University of Mississippi where she is a member of Kappa Delta Sorority and serves on the Public Relations Committee. She is majoring in Integrated Marketing & Communications with an emphasis on Pre-Law.
Alden is the daughter of Beverly Beasley Mansour and Dr. Samuel Mansour. She has 3 siblings - two brothers, Blake & Bond and a sister, Ann Sterling who all reside in Tupelo, MS. Her grandparents are Bill & Ann Beasley & the late Philip & Louise Mansour from Greenville, MS.
She even made it to our Top 20 contenders for the crown of Miss USA 2018.
Laine Alden has studied piano, voice, violin & all types of dance, including ballet, tap, hip-hop, and lyrical dance. She performed the Russian solo in the touring Russian Nutcracker and she also cheered for the award-winning Tupelo Golden Wave for 5 years. She was the first female sports broadcaster at her high school and she won numerous awards in Broadcast Journalism competitions. Four years ago, Laine Alden founded a program “GEM” - Going the Extra Mile, which she often includes in her motivational speaking engagements. Her passion is empowering children to be their best self and make an impact on our world.

She also enjoys photography and has served as a wedding photographer for the past two years. Her future plans include becoming an attorney, a policy maker and an advocate for American children’s rights & further her inspirational public speaking, appearances and writings.
Laine is probably one of the cutest contestants at Miss USA 2018 this year. Her unconventional beauty is her USP for the finale night.
